Welcome to the Strathspey Railway Association website.

The Strathspey Railway Association publishes for its members a journal, the Strathspey Express.  This website is intended to compliment the Strathspey Express, and will provide regularly updated information of what has been happening and what is about to happen on the Strathspey Railway.

Whilst the website is intended to interest existing Association Members, it is hoped that its content will tempt new members to join and perhaps in time take on Volunteer duties.

By becoming a member of the Strathspey Railway Association you will be supporting the Railway financially in its aims to maintain the magic and heritage of steam hauled train travel within the wonderful scenery on part of the original Highland Railway Mainline.

Association members have for many years taken an active part in the running of the railway.  Without the volunteer base provided by the Association the railway would never have evolved to the stage it has now reached.
